Best Researcher Award
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” – Mark Twain.
Agnel School of Law participated in the Moot Court competition held at KES Law College, Kandivali on the 7th and 8th of March 2020. Mr. Darshan Gajra and Mr. Divya Japi were the Speakers whereas I, Ms. Akshita Kotian was the Researcher. Our team was awarded as the 2nd Runners up of The Moot Court Competition among 10 other groups that had participated, and I was awarded as the Best Researcher.
No research is ever complete, it is a ceaseless and extensive process. Our preparations as a team started, right after we had registered as we were aware of the level of competition we would face. Agnel School of Law received this recognition for the first time and being the first batch, we are proud to bring this honor to our college.
We are thankful for the support and encouragement received from our college namely our I/C Principal Prof. Kevin Tauro, faculty members and staff.
Report on National Moot Court Participation
This report describes experience of our participation in a National Moot Court Competition. Our team comprised of three members, namely Ayushi Joshi, Akshay Chavan from second year LLB (3 years) and Kashish Makol from second year BLS LLB (5 years). We participated in Shri Hashuji Advani Memorial National Moot Court Competition conducted by Vivekanand Education Society’s Law College situated at Chembur, Mumbai.
This participation was our very first representation at the national level competition, we felt both proud and nervous at the same time as we got the opportunity to represent our respected institution but also it was our very first attempt. It turned out to be a great experience for us as law students. Our In charge Principal Sir and our professors were our constant supporters, helping us and ensuring that we gave our best effort as a team to represent our college. Their helping hands and encouraging words gave us confidence to give our best performance and accomplish our goal.
Our team won a special trophy for the college on the basis of our efforts and performance at the competition. It was a great moment for us as a team and as Agnel Family to have accomplished that. It was a debutant trophy for us at Agnel School of Law that I, Ayushi Joshi shall cherish life-long.
We take this opportunity to thank, Reverend Father Almeida, Director of Agnel Institution, Our In-charge Principal Professor Kevin Tauro and our Professors for providing us with this opportunity to represent our college and appreciating our efforts.
